GFN Thursday: A Borderline Brilliant Week on GeForce NOW!

Vaulting into the Cloud and Beyond!

There is plenty going on this GFN Thursday! GeForce NOW is bringing a (heat)wave of excitement to cloud gaming this week, spearheaded by the highly anticipated arrival of the entire Borderlands series! Dive into the anarchic world of Pandora and explore its unique blend of humour, over-the-top action, and endless loot, all from the comfort of the cloud! This massive addition sets the stage perfectly for the upcoming Borderlands 4, which is also slated for a day-and-date cloud launch on GeForce NOW! In addition to that, a total of 13 new games are joining the platform this week! Read on for full details!

Mayhem in the Cloud: The Borderlands Series

The Borderlands franchise is renowned for its distinctive cel-shaded art style, outlandish characters, and a relentless focus on gathering increasingly (and ridiculously) powerful and bizarre weaponry. Now, this entire chaotic saga is available to stream instantly on GeForce NOW!

Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced

Step back to where the mayhem began with Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced. This updated version of the original classic brings Pandora to life with a fresh visual polish and all its downloadable content. Players will experience the same iconic humour and loot-driven gameplay that kick-started the beloved series.

Borderlands 2

Considered a high point by many fans, Borderlands 2 sees the charismatic and villainous Handsome Jack steal the show. The sequel dials up the fun and insanity with an unforgettable cast of characters and a truly zany storyline, keeping players hooked with its non-stop action.

Borderlands 3

For those craving even more laughs and unparalleled chaos, Borderlands 3 delivers the biggest loot explosion yet. Players can explore new worlds and face off against the formidable Calypso twins in an adventure packed with continuous action and plenty of surprises.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Discover the origins of the infamous Handsome Jack in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. This title adds a new dimension to the gameplay with zero-gravity environments, moon boots for unique traversal, and enough sarcastic dialogue to keep you entertained throughout. GeForce NOW members can jump in and experience the laughter, looting, and blasting through Pandora, all streamed seamlessly from the cloud with instant access and up to 4K resolution with an Ultimate membership.

FBC: Firebreak

From Remedy Entertainment, the creators of Control, comes FBC: Firebreak. This highly anticipated three-player co-op first-person shooter takes place six years after the events of Control, plunging players into the Oldest House, which is under siege by reality-warping threats. As elite first responders for the Federal Bureau of Control, your mission is to restore order before chaos consumes everything. Players can equip unique Crisis Kits, featuring a range of weapons, specialised tools, and paranatural augments—including a garden gnome that summons thunderstorms or a piggy bank that spews coins. Teamwork and quick thinking are essential as each mission, or “Job,” throws players into unpredictable environments with shifting objectives, bizarre crises, and wacky enemies.

REMATCH

For football (or soccer, to our American readers!) fans looking for a twist on the traditional sport, REMATCH offers a fast-paced, third-person action experience. There are no fouls, offsides, or breaks, meaning matches are non-stop and skills-based, demanding quick reflexes and seamless teamwork. Dynamic role-switching allows players to jump between attack, defence, and goalkeeping, while seasonal updates and various multiplayer modes keep the competition fresh and intense.

Genshin Impact Update

The popular open-world action role-playing game Genshin Impact receives its latest major update this week. Version 5.7 introduces a new playable character, Skirk, and a new companion, Dahlia, alongside fresh story quests and the launch of a Stygian Onslaught combat mode.
