DOOM and Gloom (and Glory!): GeForce NOW Lands on the Steam Deck!

GeForce NOW gains two massive new titles in 2025 and reaches new heights with support for Steam Deck!

As you may well be aware, NVIDIA made significant strides at CES 2025, announcing a major expansion of GeForce NOW which got a lot of us very excited indeed! They announced that they are bringing GeForce RTX gaming to a wider range of devices, most notably the Steam Deck via a native app that they will release later in 2025. Exciting times lie ahead for portable gaming!

2025 Is Looking Good!

Onto games now, and we can all look forward to more AAA titles joining the GeForce NOW library. Highly anticipated games like Avowed, and DOOM: The Dark Ages will be available on GeForce NOW at their respective PC launches later this year.

A Fantasy Epic in the Clouds

Avowed is a first-person fantasy RPG which allows players to freely combine weapons and magic, offering diverse combat styles. Players will take on the role of an Aedyr Empire envoy investigating a mysterious plague, encountering unique companions with their own abilities and storylines. Avowed is set to launch on PC on Tuesday, February 18th.

Hell Comes to GeForce NOW

The iconic DOOM series is back with another incredible instalment, DOOM: The Dark Ages! This time it’s an action-packed prequel to DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal, which lets players embody the legendary demon-slaying Doom Slayer. The game will allow you to experience the cinematic origin story of the Doom Slayer’s relentless war against Hell and is set to release later this year. From what we’ve seen, this is one to get excited about!

  • Builders of Egypt (New release on Steam, Jan. 8)
  • DREDGE (Epic Games Store)
  • Drova – Forsaken Kin (Steam)
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance (Xbox, available on Microsoft Store)
  • Marvel Rivals (New release on Steam)

It’s been one heck of a week for GeForce NOW updates and an incredibly exciting one at that, around both hardware and software alike!
