It’s the first Thursday of the month and this generally means the new GeForce Now games for the coming month are announced. Today is no different, or is it? Among the GeForce Now August 2023 games, there’s been a few more big announcements from Nvidia. Read on for this weeks stacked GeForce Now update.
GeForce Now Ultimate rollout is complete
The first announcement is a major milestone for Nvidia. All regions in North America and Europe have finished their GeForce Now Ultimate rollout. With the highest tier you can get access to the most powerful hardware available for GeForce Now members. The Ultimate tier sports a GeForce RTX 4080 including ray tracing.
To celebrate this, Nvidia is joining Quakecon to show of their hardware. If you’re interested in trying it out, accessories company SteelSeries will be giving away codes for three-day GeForce Now Ultimate.
Bethesda arrives on GeForce Now
August 2023 is also the month when Bethesda will make it’s entrance on GeForce Now. Starting with the Doom, Wolfenstein and Quake franchises. Later this month, games from these series will be added to the roster. No specific date or titles are given so it’ll remain a surprise for now.
It’ll likely be a combination of older and newer titles, except for Wolfenstein. Only the modern iterations of the Wolfenstein games will be appearing. Which isn’t surprising as they got added on Boosteroid earlier last month.
